2013년 12월 기준, 모든기술분야에 대한 전체 평균으로 첫번째 심사통지(first office action)까지 17.4개월, 최종 심사결과까지는 약 28.6개월 정도 소요되는 것으로 나타나고 있습니다. 2012년도에 비해 첫번째 심사통지까지의 시간이 4.6개월 정도, 전체심사기간은 5.9개월 정도 빨라졌습니다.
참고로, Track-I Prioritized Examination (우선심사)의 경우는 청원에서 첫번째 심사통지(first office action)까지 2.1개월, 최종 심사결과까지는 약 6.2개월 정도 소요되는 것으로 나타나고 있습니다.
